Who we are

Wocument (“we”) decides how the information described here is used. You can reach us about anything on this page at hey@wocument.com.

What we collect

When you ask for early access, we keep your email address, the date and time you signed up, and which form on the site you used. We collect nothing else through the form.

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. If you turn the sea sound off, your browser remembers that choice on your own device; it is never sent to us. Like every website, the service that hosts it may keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure.

Why we use it

To email you when Wocument opens, and to answer you if you write to us. We use your address for nothing else, and we never sell it or share it for marketing. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form.

Where it is kept

Sign-ups are stored in a Google Sheet. Google acts as our processor and may store data outside the UK and the European Economic Area, under its standard contractual safeguards. When we send the launch email we may use an email service, which will act as our processor in the same way.

How long we keep it

Until Wocument opens and we have told you so. After that we delete your address within 12 months, unless you have chosen to hear more from us.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hey@wocument.com and we will act within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority where you live.

If this notice changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
